For the year 1865, combined volumes 47 & 48. A collection of patterns, music, poetry and short stories. Thoroughly illustrated with both b/w and colored steel engravings. All fashion plates are present for each month though February plate is partially detached with tear in gutter through to previous plate- it seems the plate prior to this has been removed.
Bound in quartered black leather with brown linen sides. Spine lettered and lined in gold. Boards are notably scuffed. Corners turned in and bottom edge of front board bumped. Leather at corners and linen of outer edges split. Creasing through backstrip. Front hinge cracked but attached. Interior unmarked.
