Gilt titling on spine and cover are dulled; cover titling is largely rubbed away though is deeply stamped. Rear cover surface scuffed. Corners rubbed. Binding secure though canted. 416pp. First blank marked by gift inscription, dated1896. Warmly toned pages profusely accented with 125 b/w photographic cuts and inserts throughout.
