Did you know?

-About 1 in 8 U.S. women (about 13%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime (CDC).

-Every 2 minutes a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer.

To show our support for breast cancer awareness, we're running a raffle for a chance to win a $100 Chamblin's gift card that can be used at both of our bookstores and the cafe. All proceeds will be directly donated to Pink Ribbon Jax to fund life saving mammograms. Entries are $10 per ticket & you may enter multiple times. Tickets are available at both locations. The drawing will be November 1st.

The goal is to fund 1,500 mammograms for uninsured and underinsured women and men! Each free mammogram to the community costs, on average, $300.

1,500 x $300 = $450,000.

Together, we will save lives by providing for those in our community with the greatest need.

About Pink Ribbon Jax: Celebrating its 15th Anniversary, Pink Ribbon Jax is a volunteer-driven, nonprofit group created in 2006 to raise funds for local breast cancer research and related services at Baptist Medical Centers and Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville. PRJ operates as a 501(c)(3) under the Baptist Health Foundation umbrella. What began as one event has grown to multiple fundraising and educational events. To date, we have raised and donated more than $2.1 million in the fight against breast cancer, and it all stays in Jacksonville!
