Text is in French. Five volume set in 4 volumes (volume 4 is 2-in-1). In remarkable condition for age. Books are petite, hardbound in mottled calf. With gilt detelles and gilt decorated banded spine. Each book has green ribbon page marker, marbled end pages and vibrantly red painted text block. Interiors unmarked. Books are cracked along joints though binding is overall secure. Ends of backstrip are chipped, revealing headbands. Boards moderately scuffed and corners bumped.
