Hardbound in color illustrated cloth boards with gilt titled white cloth backing. Boards scuffed, dirtied and gilt is deeply dulled. Corners and edges worn. Rear board marked in crayon and superficially eroded around margins. Cloth of spine eroded so that it is very thin. Binding loose. 60p. Pages are unmarked though prelim through page 14 are mostly detached, chipped along bottom edge with larger chip missing from inside edge of first few pages. Last 10 mostly detached as well. Bug eaten holes can be found throughout. In fair- condition, a fine reading copy.
