A complete two volume illustrated set with red slipcase included. Text is unmarked with a warm patina and numerous b/w plates with faintly toned tissue flyleaf. Binding is tight with partially split hinges that remain fully attached. Bound in red cloth boards with gold gilt lettering, pointed corners, a creme spine and a deckled textblock. Red jackets remain unclipped with minor wear other than heavily sunned spines. Foxing present on text-blocks and end-pages. Slipcase is mildly soiled with previous owner's name written over spine and on first volume endpaper.
