Unpaginated pages are crisp and unmarked. Profusely illustrated in b/w by Dale Ulrey. Bound in dark teal cloth with large picture plate covering most of front cover. Binding remains is square and secure though hinges appear reinforced. Boards are lightly rubbed at the edges and faintly foxed. Pasted picture plate on front cover remains vibrant and only very minimally rubbed.
Dust jacket is in good condition- original price of $1.95 is still intact and illustrations are bright and clear. Few creases and tears surround edges, notably, chips are taken from both ends of the spine and ends of inner flap folds. Rear panel is scuffed and soiled faintly.
