All 12 colour plates are within tome and have been accounted for. Short gift inscription on illustrated front endpaper. Interior is otherwise unmarked on warmly toned and moderately foxed pages with deckle edges. Binding is intact with hinges that are split but remain secure. Brown pictorial cloth boards with red and blue design are edge worn with some moisture stains on front, and soiling present on backside. Corners are bumped with spine ends lightly frayed. Black base border on first plate is ripped and torn, as pictured. Some tissue flyleaf between plates are also tattered.
