This assumed first edition (no date listed) has boards three quarter bound in black leather with straight, rubbed edges and rubbed corners. Back top corner is bumped and peeling. Surface stains are present with patina along the edges and foxing along the fore edge. Small chunk is missing from upper center of front board. Spine is uncreased with gold gilt titling and 4 raised bands. Lightly rubbed edges. Soft creases present at the upper hinge of front board. Text block is square with toned and foxed edges. Binding is firm. 248p. End pages have toned edges and light foxing. Interior has a small penciled notation present at the top edge of front end page and title page, otherwise contents remain unmarked with thin, some creased, pages through out. Includes several trifold pages attached inside.
