A complete four volume limited edition set, no. 457/1000 printed. Printed on Japanese vellum with a warm patina, deckle edges, numerous b/w etchings and tissue flyleaf protection. Sparse foxing present on unmarked pages. Bindings are tight with lightly canted spines and fully attached hinges. Bound in midnight blue cloth with pointed corners except for volume one. Paste down titles on spines are toned, mildly chipped and show some damp stains. Some insect damage on volume one extremities. A few edge dents and scuffs on volume three.
