In French. Hardbound in half leather with marbled paper sides. Banded spine lettered in gold, decorative end pages and speckled text block. Numerous in-text illustration throughout.
Binding remains secure though rear hinge cracked along end paper gutter. Interior solely marked by brief inscription penned to front fly, dated Madrid 1952. Covers are mildly worn- corners are split and leather scuffed, namely around crown and front joint. Sunning over top quarter of backstrip. Overall toning and patina present.
