Text is unmarked on clean, warmly toned pages with a lovely black and white illustration a vis to each page of text-- front flyleaf with black and white frontispiece on its other side is detached but included. Color illustrated boards are tanned and heavily worn by surface scratches and rubbed edges, title and illustrations remain bright. Cloth spine is tanned and dirt soiled. Binding is intact and hinges are firm. No DJ.
