Black cloth boards have raised detailing along the boarder of front and back boards. Edges are straight. Corners are curled and rubbed. Gold emblem in center of front board. Trivial surface markings present from handling. Spine is uncreased with gold titling and detailing. Edges are softly rubbed. Text block is square with a gold gilt top edge and deckled pages. Binding is secure. Page numbers are continuous from previous volume (267-580p). Marbled end pages are clean. Pages 340-341 have binding exposed in the gutter but remains intact. Light damp stains present along the top edge of some pages. Tear present on rear fly leaf on the bottom edge from where it appears to have been stuck to the paste down. Interior appears unmarked and includes several tipped in colored and b/w illustrations through out.
