Ron is the founder and owner of Chamblin's, first opening in 1976. He is usually working at the Roosevelt location, riding around on his motorcycle, or hiding out and reading something interesting about History or Philosophy.

Angela has been with our company since 2014 and is the manager at the Roosevelt location. She is an alumna from Flagler College & can find any title that you're looking for. She enjoys reading and being outside. 



Abby McCall

Abby McCall

Abby has been with Chamblins since 2017 and is the front end manager at the Roosevelt location. She's in charge of our Book Club & works with Cari to run our monthly Art Walk set up. She enjoys cats, nature and loves talking about books (obviously).

JD has been with our company since 2017. He is an artist & musician active in our local community.



Olga Diers

Olga Diers

Originally from Russia, Olga has been working in the stacks at the Roosevelt location since 2007. She can find just about anything! In her spare time she enjoys gardening, bicycling and reading funny mystery books.

Carly

Carly has been with the company since 2013 and is the General Manager of the operation. She lives in St. Augustine with her partner and their various pets and plants.



Cäri Hamoui

Cäri Hamoui

Cäri has been with Chamblin's since 2014 and is the bookstore manager at the Uptown location. She enjoys digital illustration, playing guitar, watching true crime documentaries, her chow-chow Taro,  and DJing music that others have yet to discover. If you're a local author interested in selling us your book / setting up a book signing or  an artist who would like a spot for Art Walk, she's the one you want to talk to.

Working with us since 2018, Johnny is mostly at our Bookmine location. A host of our monthly Open Mic Night at Chamblin's Uptown, local poet and zinester. Make sure to take a peek at his zine Happy Tapir on our shelves!

Emily has been with the company since 2010. In her spare time she enjoys drawing, dogs, pies, and reading books by her favorite author, Ray Bradbury.



June  Lackey

June Lackey

June was the beloved head of the children's department for five years. She enjoyed spending time with family, friends and utilizing her skills to help people to the best of her ability. She was deeply loved by her grandchildren, family and co-workers. May her memory be a blessing.

Sean is the cafe manager at the Uptown location and has been with the company since 2016.  After making exquisite lattes and soups, he can be seen catching Pokemon in the streets.

Evan likes to eat tacos and expensive sushi, watch the Thing and sleep.

Louise Lee

Louise has been working with Chamblin's since 2016. She has an affinity for drinking dangerous amounts of coffee and loves to study law. She is in charge of orchestrating the "Blind Dates With a Book" and can talk for hours with you about almost any genre.

When she's not working, Abigail can be found reading or painting on her porch amongst her plants and feline friends. She enjoys exploring different mediums of art and is a certified PC Gamer.

Cori is the newest team member at the Uptown bookstore. He is a writer, visual artist and owner of the indie publishing house Subtle Body Press.

Andy is the newest member of the Uptown cafe crew. He is best self described as, "a very fancy boy."



Jenifer  Lawrence

Jenifer Lawrence

Jen loves to hang out at home with her family and pets. She enjoys playing games on Nintendo Switch, cooking and eating quality food (most likely at the same time) or reading books surrounded by her enormous plant collection. She also enjoys discussions about movies and music with anyone who will listen, and can always help you find something in classic fiction, which she haunts occassionally on her off days.

Mady has worked with us since 2017. She is an aspiring book conservationist and loves researching our rarest books. In her off time, she enjoys either knitting on the couch with a spooky movie or going on road trips with her boyfriend.
