A petite pre-war travel guide of Palestine and Syria, bound in red, blindly ruled flexible cloth with gilt title on cover and spine. With marbled text block and two sewn-in cloth page markers. 21 color maps, 56 plans (many folding inserts) and a panorama of Jerusalem.
In beautiful condition, all maps are present and neatly folded. Text unmarked. Text block slightly faded and bit of fraying to page markers. Bright red cloth covers are lightly worn around outer edges- a small bump marks rear spine edge. Binding secure. Scarcely found printed dust jacket is deeply toned with some light surface wear and very small chips/tears around the edges. Two dark spots mark spine and rear panel.
