Incomplete four volume set- missing volume four. Hardbound in original brown cloth with gold titles on spine. All plates present and fold out maps on 1 & 2. Fold-out maps were engraved by Illman and Pilbrow. Light to moderate foxing throughout. Bookplates on front pastedown. Bindings are square and secure. Boards sunned, moderately scuffed and soiled. Cloth covering spine of volume three has worn enough to reveal large section of blue boards. Corners lightly bumped. Very good condition for age.
