A handsome and complete three volume set. Bound in period mottled calf with spine rebacked in darker calf with tooled gilt and glossy marbled endpages. Corners and spine ends are bumped and lightly chipping. Warmly toned pages unmarked with heavy foxing throughout and numerous b/w engravings. Binding is tight and square, all hinges are fully attached. Ex-libris bookplate stickers present on FOP on all. Top edge of text-block is dust soiled.
