A collection of thirteen different dime novels from 1898-1902. Covers of each volume are chipped, foxed and show a patina. Squared spines are chipped at the ends though titling remains intact on most. Deeply tanned pages are easily chipped from age. Books range from fair to good condition, titles and flaws are as follows;

No. 34- The Duchess by The Duchess, c. May. 1898
Covers loose from chipped ends of spine and hinges.

No. 49- Ballad's & Other Verses by Rudyard Kipling, c. Sept. 1898
Mostly intact in good condition.

No. 61- The King's Stratagem and Other Stories by Stanley J. Weyman, c. Nov. 1898
Cover is missing a large chip at the fore edge and a slice is through the center. Hinges detached at the ends.

No. 77- The Three Musketeers by Alexandre Dumas, c. Mar. 1899
Bottom hinge is separated from both covers and rear covers bottom spine cover is chipped away.

No. 89- "Carmen" and "Columba" by Prosper Merimee, undated, likely 1899
Covers remain intact though are fully separated from text block. Ends of spine chipped. Misprinted so that it is a bit shorter from the other books and writing at the top edges are cut.

No. 97- The Courting of Dinah Shadd by Rudyard Kipling, c. Aug. 1899
Chipped in the center, obscuring a section of titling. Heavy foxing at the fore edge.

No. 99- Twenty Years After by Alexandre Dumas, C. Aug. 1899

No. 227- All in a Garden Fair by Walter Besant, c. Jan. 1902

No. 243- Judith Shakespeare by William Black , May. 1902
Cover detached though included. Erosion to bottom spine corner continues through to title page.

No. 256- Annan Water by Robert Buchanan c. Jul. 1902
Heavily chipped spine though title intact. Cover very loose from large chips taken from either ends of hinges.

No. 272- Christowell by R.D. Blackmore c. Sept. 1902
Hinge split at foot.

No. 277 Miss Bretherton by Humphrey Ward, c. Sept. 1902
Both covers split at either hinge.

No. 320- Maird of Athens by Justin McCarthy, c. Aug, 1899.
