Hardbound with yellow cloth covered boards- cover and spine are heavily decorated in black and gilt. Text block is deeply tanned. Cover boards are tanned, corners are beginning to fray and rear board is surface scuffed. Spine is rubbed, slightly obscuring titling, and ends are chipped. Both hinges very loose. 213pp. Pages are toned from age though unmarked with plenty of b/w illustrated plates throughout. Beautifully green illustrated endpapers. A sticker is present on the front endpaper and the front flyleaf has a 1-inch tear at either end.
