Text is unmarked with various poems and early 20th century illustrated engravings on glossy pages with a light patina and foxing throughout. Lovely red illustrated pictorial boards show minor wear from age, adding unintended character and charm. Corners are gently bumped with some soiling on back. Top of page edges are soiled through entire book from an apparent liquid stain, does not effect legibility. A book of importance for the period's artwork and preserved condition. Inscribed by previous owner on decorated front end-page.
