Bound in burgundy cloth with gilt titling over the spine and gilt illustration on the front board; covers are bug eaten and tanned at the top and bottom edges; spine is tanned and title is heavily rubbed, mostly obscured. Binding remains slightly loosened though hinges are secured. Pages are solely marked by a warm patina and a small inscription from a previous owner on the front flyleaf; tipped in, black & white plates are clean and fully secured to pages throughout. DJ remains in poor condition, protected in a glossy mylar cover, the spine is missing leaving the front and back panels disjointed and attached by a strip of taped at the foot; edges are chipped and rubbed.
