246pp. Bound in green cloth with black titling and paneling over the front board and spine. Binding is slightly canted and both hinges are loosened, shaking the text block slightly. Pictorial endpapers are tanned and the front flyleaf is marked by an inscription from a previous owner. Text block is tanned and soiled in small spots with a stain at the bottom fore edge corner bleeding onto leaves; a few pages have a chip taken from the same corner. The spine has a one inch tear at the crown that is creased, both ends are frayed. Surfaces of both boards are lightly scuffed and corners are bumped.
