Text is unmarked on lightly patinated pages; there is a newspaper clipping stapled to the front fly leaf and blind embossed stamp on each leaf through dedication page. The text block is tanned and top edge has a small, 1/2 in., darker stain. Red cloth boards are clean with general surface wear from age and a light colored scuff at the back board. Spine is tanned though gilt lettering is still readable.
