Complete 8-volume set, quarter leather bound with marble decorated boards. Bindings are square and hinges remain intact on each volume. Text is unmarked on lightly patinated and foxed pages, there is a ex-libris sticker pasted to each front endpaper. All volumes show general surface and edge rubbing from age; spines are tanned and rubbed at head and foot, though gilt lettering is still intact. Each text block is gilt on all edges.
