Text and illustration/photography is clean on uncreased pages, unmarked save for sporadic library stamps; half-title page is heavily chipped and loosed from binding. Hinges are intact with binding-tape repair, textblock is square with time-rounded corners, binding has slight cant. Library issue - has library labels, stamps, notations. Moderate++ overall shelf/timewear, boardwear, board edge and cornerwear; foxing and spotting on endpapers and textblock edges, foxing and page patina throughout, written name on frontleaf.
