We trade in all types of hardcover and paperback books, giving in most cases, a value equaling one half of our selling price for the book.
Occasionally the book credit offered for a hardcover book will be more than, or less than, one-half the estimated selling price for the book,
usually depending on the demand and salability of the book. If we have an excessive stock of a certain title, we may not offer
any credit for that particular title. You can use your book credit to purchase any item in the bookstore, from any category, new or used.
Your book credit is placed in our computer file until it is used by you, and will remain in the file for years. You may "cash out" your book credit
at any time, the cash value will be 30% less than the book credit.

Most of our paperbacks are sold at one-half of the original price. However, some older paperbacks, having
very low prices established perhaps twenty to fifty years ago, are sold for the minimum prices as shown below:

| Minimums | |
| Contemporary Romances, Westerns, Gothic Romances, and some Juvenile Fiction are sold for a minimum of: | $1.75 |
| Mysteries, Sci-Fi, General Fiction, Classics, Action Adventure, and Historical Romance are sold for a minimum of: | $2.50 |
| Non-Fiction Titles are sold for a minimum of: | $2.95 |
| All Trade Paperback (Large Format) Non-Fiction and Fiction is sold for a minimum of: | $4.50 |
| Although the above minimums normally apply, we may occasionally use discretion to sell certain titles at "below" the minimums ... especially in the Juvenile Fiction and the Non-Fiction titles. | |||||||||||||||

The Trade-In value for books also reflects the minimum prices as shown above. For example, a non-fiction paperback
with an original price of 75 cents will have a trade-in value of $1.50 because we will sell the book for $2.95.

Hardcover Book Buying
If a book collection is large, we can make arrangements to review the books at their location. Our offer for a hardcover
book depends on our estimated selling price of the book, and the estimated salability or demand for the book. If a book
is very common, and is not much in demand, we may not offer to buy it, or our offer may be less than if the book was somewhat
scarce and in demand. We buy all types and categories of hardcover books. However, we may not buy, or may restrict the buying
of, the following types of books:

|
We buy most magazines printed in the 1950s and older. We buy National Geographic magazines from the early fifties and older, and we buy the issues of the most recent year. We buy some magazines as recent as the seventies, such as Life magazine, and certain titles covering airplanes, military histories, and nautical history.

We buy, trade-in, rent, or sell all audiobooks. We have both abridged and unabridged audiobooks, in both tape and the CD format. The audiobooks sell from between 10% and 40% off of the retail price, depending on the title, and our discretion. We rent the tapes as follows:

Video and DVDs We buy, trade-in, rent or sell all videos and DVDs, the exception being that we will sell only those DVD titles for which we have more than one copy. Although most videos sell for $9.00, some may sell for more, and some may sell for less. DVDs sell for $12.00 each. Because our stock of videos is becoming excessive as many customers are changing to DVDs, we are becoming more selective regarding the videos we buy or trade in. |
